Round rods for processing according to plan. White ones are available in diameters of Ø 65 and 90 mm, and black ones are available in Ø 10, 65 and 80 mm. Check the sales length for the selected product.
Polyethylene
PE sheets
White or natural and black plates in several thicknesses and whole and smaller sales formats. The offer includes PE 300 and PE 500; check the material label for each product.
Surface: PE sheets are without protective film and are not intended for aesthetic solutions.

POM-C or PE?

POM C — polyacetal
POM C is an engineering plastic that stands out for its rigidity, dimensional stability and good machinability. It makes sense for products where the shape of the final part and mechanical processing are important.
PE — polyethylene
PE is a versatile material with good impact resistance. It is used in many technical solutions, and the choice is based on the specific design of the polyethylene and the environment in which the product will operate.

Typical applications of POM-C and PE
To facilitate the selection of a semi-finished product. The appropriate material design depends on the final part and the conditions of use.
POM-C for bushings and precision machined parts
POM-C is a common choice for bushings, spacers and other machined parts where rigidity and dimensional stability are important. For round parts, choose a rod, for flat parts, a plate. Please specify final dimensions, tolerances, quantity and conditions of use in your enquiry. Please send a sketch or plan by e-mail.
PE 500 for slide rails
PE 500 is suitable for guides and slide rails due to its sliding properties and wear resistance. The choice also depends on the load and the material sliding on the surface. When making an enquiry, please provide the dimensions or cross-section of the guide, length, quantity and description of the movement and load.
PE sheets, cut to size
PE 300 is also used for components of chemical equipment and vessels. When cutting the sheets, please specify the length, width, thickness and number of pieces. If the material will be in contact with chemicals, please add their type, concentration and temperature of use so that the suitability of the selected PE can be checked.

White polyethylene boards show the finished piece with rounded edges and a groove. The product in the range has a thickness of 10 mm; other dimensions can be coordinated upon request.

In what form can I order POM C and PE?
Both materials are available as plates and round rods. You can choose between white, natural and black versions. Thicknesses, diameters and sales dimensions vary depending on the material and color. For rods, also check the length of the selected variant.
What plate formats can I buy?
The offer includes formats such as 500 × 500, 500 × 1000, 1000 × 1000 and 1000 × 2000 mm. The range depends on the material, thickness and colour. The exact options and the corresponding price are shown on the individual product page.

What is the difference between PE 300 and PE 500?
PE 300 is high-density polyethylene (PE-HD), while PE 500 is high-molecular polyethylene (PE-HMW). For PE 300, processability and chemical resistance are important. PE 500 is a reasonable candidate for sliding and wear surfaces, where resistance to wear and cuts is important. The choice depends on the loads and environment. Do PE panels have a protective film?
The PE panels from our published offer do not have a protective film and are not intended for aesthetic solutions. If the appearance of the surface is an important part of your project, please indicate this before ordering so that we can check the suitability of the choice.
