Vacum Metallization and colouring |
|
Vacuum metallization is a procedure where in special vacuum chambers different metals are applied under high-vacuum conditions. Most frequently plastic films are coated with aluminium. After the treatment this aluminium acts as chromium. Metallization is often used in the manufacture of car headlamps, various packaging in cosmetic industry, elements in furniture industry and mirrors of different kinds. To ensure better protection, different metals are applied to a workpiece or it is varnished by using modern materials of recognised producers. |
